Salmon's body of work Moon Bathing; a moving image and series of hand coloured photographs was developed during a residency at Can Serrat in Mont Serrat, Spain (2018).

 

The photographic works were taking during a series of night time performances by the artist using long exposures on medium format film. Drawing on the literacy works of authors such as Daphne du Maurier and Jean Rhy’s novel Wide Sargasso Sea, Moon Bathing explores historic and contemporary depictions of female sexuality, lunacy and landscape.
